Lions president Maria thanks supportive local schools

By Kevin Black in Local People

The Caterham, Oxted and Godstone Lions club (COGs) has presented two local schools with certificates of appreciation.

President, Maria Coyle of Hurst Green visited both Caterham School and Bletchingley Village Primary to make the presentations.

She said: “Both schools have been very supportive over the years in providing venues for our fundraising events. And this means we can continue to raise money for local causes.

“We also help local young people and school students in their own fundraising endeavors and other goals where we can. So its fantastic to have this collaboration with our local schools.”
