Moor House School hosts outdoor fundraising theatre

By Kevin Black in Events

Following last year’s fabulous performance of Danny the Champion of the World, Moor House School & College, Hurst Green, is once again hosting an open air theatre event in order to raise much needed funds for the building of a brand new, state-of-the art, therapy hub.

On June 9, Moor House School, a pioneering school and charity offering specialist teaching, therapy and residential care to children and young people aged 7-19 with complex speech and language difficulties from Surrey, Kent and the South East, will be opening its gates and inviting guests to enjoy the larger-than-life characters in the cheeky comedy, Hans Christian Andersen’s much-loved story, The Emperor’s New Clothes.

This family friendly performance, suitable for anyone aged five and over, will begin at 7pm (picnics welcome from 5.30pm). Seating will be on the grass in front of the stage and so ticket holders are welcome to bring a picnic blanket or low backed chairs.

Ticket prices start at £10 and are available at http://bit.ly/newclothesbooking or on 01883 770990.
